The architectural language of this twin tower project was inspired by Trade routes, through which commercial activity was carried to satisfy trading needs within cities. These Trading Routes had in fact existed from Ancient Times, with China taking lead as seen in the expeditions of General Zheng. ShenZhen has emerged as a pivotal node in these Trade routes and its role in commerce is celebrated through design.
